Recorded at the last Serapis show in 2007, the original recording was rediscovered years later. I have mixed and mastered it as best as I can but the original quality wasn't the best to work with. The live EQ mix improves over the course of the show, so the last song sounds the best.

Despite these flaws, I hope you enjoy these heavy metal tunes from Memphis, TN. I wanted to share to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Serapis' original self-titled album.

Mesada, Act 1, 2 and 3 were part of a future release that was being written. These are the only recordings of the tracks. Sadly Act 4, the final chapter was never written, so the story remains unresolved.

Serapis

Serapis released a self titled album on 2012-02-24 with One Day Savior Recordings. Mixing doom, thrash, and metal, Memphis, TN 's Serapis are as unique as they are volatile. Formed from the core members of My Surrender, the band has in one form another been active from the year 2000 to 2007. Recommended for Fans of: Mastodon, Lamb Of God, Darkest Hour ... more
